As a result of the use of rubber bullets and tear gas and sound bombs, 88 injured people, most of them with eyes and face, were taken to hospital and the rest were treated on an outpatient basis, the statement said.

Palestinian hospital sources said that the occupying forces attacked the medical staff inside Al-Aqsa and prevented medical aid from reaching the wounded in the clashes.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister denounces the Israeli attack

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has condemned the Israeli attack on Palestinians at the Al Aqsa Mosque complex. “Strongly condemn Israeli Forces’ attack on Palestinians in Qibla-e-Awaal, Al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly during Ramadan, violating all norms of humanity and international law,” he wrote on Twitter. He went on to say, “We reiterate our support for Palestinian people.”

He urged the international community to move quickly to “secure Palestinians and their legitimate rights.”
