According to the city’s police, Vienna terror attack took place on Tuesday in the centre of the city. Until now, at least one person died and it is feared that a lot of people have been killed in this ruthless incident.
The Austrian Interior Minister stated that ” This incident seemed to be a terror attack.” As per the reports of the local police, many people are suffering from severe injuries and an officer of the police team is also included in the list of wounded people.

Firing in the inner city of Vienna was launched by anonymous individuals armed with riffles at six different locations. Whereas the exchange of cross-firing between the police and the terrorist has led to the death of one shooter.

The police have impulsed the people not to use public transport and avoid the tragic area where the incident took place almost an hour before. The wave of fear and uncertainty have encircled the masses present in the surroundings and far away.
The authorities have blocked the road in the city centre following the security of people. People started running when they heard of the gunshots. On of the location targeted for the Vienna terror attack was near the synagogue.
The Jewish leader Oskar Deutsch tweeted in this regard which reads that “It was unclear if the Vienna synagogue was targeted in the attack as it was closed at the time.”According to AFP, one of the eyewitnesses said that “It sounded like firecrackers, then we realised it was shots.”
Emmanuel Macron, the French President boosted the morale of Europeans by expressing staunch determination to fight Vienna terror attack. Taking it to Twitter, he wrote “We the French people share the shock and grief of the Austrian people, struck this evening by an attack in the heart of their capital, Vienna. After France, a friend of ours is attacked. This is our Europe. Our enemies must know who they are dealing with.”
