Royal Palm Beach: A Man Shot a boy and his grandmother

According to the Royal Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a grandmother and her 1-year-old grandson were shot and killed at a Publix grocery store in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday.

The assailant is also no longer alive. The motivation for the shooting is still unknown, and there is no known relationship between the gunman and the victims, according to the sheriff’s office. According to the sheriff’s office, the victims’ families have used Marsy’s law, which means they will not be recognized.

The police station continued its work and disseminated the initial information

According to the Police office, the gunman’s name will be disclosed once his relatives are discovered. “Our hearts are with all who have been impacted by this tragedy,” Publix said in a statement on Thursday.

The corporation stated that it was collaborating with law authorities but declined to provide further specifics due to the ongoing investigation.

The shooter and the victims may have known each other at first, according to authorities. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office later stated that there was no known motive or connection between the suspect and the victims, but detectives were still looking into it.

The sheriff’s office identified the suspect as Timothy J. Wall, 55, of Royal Palm Beach. The grandmother’s and grandson’s names will not be revealed. According to the sheriff’s office, their family used Marsy’s Law, which allows victims of crimes to prevent information that could be used to locate or harass them or their families from being made public.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Juan Guardia was in the deli section when the gunfire occurred in the vegetable section. Timothy J. Wall has been named as the man accused of fatally shooting a grandmother and her 1-year-old grandson inside a Florida grocery store on Thursday before turning the pistol on himself.

What eyewitnesses saw and said

The incident occurred late Thursday morning at a Publix in a strip mall in Royal Palm Beach, sending customers fleeing the store.

Juan Garcia, a shopper, told the Palm Beach Post, “I heard, ‘They’re firing!” He claimed he was instructed to flee by a coworker. “I was terrified, which is unfortunate because everything happened so quickly.” Everyone was fleeing, and some staff were in tears.”

The victims’ identities will not be disclosed, according to the sheriff’s office, because the family invoked Marsy’s Law, which permits victims of crimes to prevent information that could be used to locate or harass them or their families from being made public.
