Lahore colleges to stay shut thrice every week as smog worsens

A day earlier, the Punjab authorities had determined to close personal and authorities colleges in Lahore thrice every week because the smog state of affairs within the provincial capital has taken a flip for the more severe.

In a notification, Punjab Relief Commissioner Babar Hayat Tarar had stated the restriction could be in place from November 27 to January 15. The commissioner stated personal workplaces within the provincial capital would additionally stay shut three days every week.

Schools and workplaces shall be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the notification had stated.
