As “The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization.” – Daniel Webster said in an inauguration addressing the true assets of the country, the farmers. That Indictment is highly acknowledged by the government of Uttar Pradesh declaring that they’ll be going to launch a specific program in order to make their income duplex.
According to News Bharati Media, “The program has been named as ‘Kisan Kalyan Mission,’ that will cover all assembly constituencies of the state.”
So that the misconceptions and the problems will be heard and sorted out, asserted by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while directing the framer gathering in Bareilly, regarding prevalent farm legislations. It seems to be a great step provoked by Indians that contains a global agriculture powerhouse.
As: “Over 70 per cent of their rural households depend on agriculture. It contributes about 17% to the total GDP and provides employment to over 60% of the population.” that could only be maintained or raised by introducing certain new programs in this prime field only then you are able to utilize the resources in the tremendous era of modern warfare.
The Focus of 2020 is shifting towards Agrarian program
The focal point of 2020, pursuing “Kisan Kalyan Mission” seems to be in second term of Modi’s administration for doubling farmers ‘2015-2016 income in a true sense, by 2020.
Going with the statement of The Hindu media: “Not only the budget allocation for the sector was hiked over 78% to ₹1.39 lakh crore for the current fiscal, the government persuaded states to adopt long pending agri-marketing reforms as per the Model Agriculture Produce and Livestock Market Committee (APML) Act.”
In 2019, the government of India also launched a new program in order to mitigate the agrarian distress, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) stepped forward with an aim to provide benefit of direct cash to the 14 crore farmers. The agriculture minister declared on the 1st of January, 2020 as :
By and large the government’s priority was on improving the farmers’ income and accordingly the schemes were framed and some existing ones were tweaked to achieve this objective
The Country is gradually going towards self-sufficiency gradually and in this case the policy pertaining to government Of India probably changes from Production- centric to Farmer incomes- centric. The experts used to say about 2019 as “The year was no doubt “better” in terms of prices that farmers got for their produce when compared to last two years even though the rising food inflation was a concern with retail prices.”
Consequently, this act made the government to introduce new programs and schemes in 2020 as well because of their fine experience and results in Agricultural belt. It is highly noted that In order to survive in 2020 with the gravity of COVID, the only country that survive would be the one who utilizes or generates resources and needs from its own land. Only then you’ll be able to stabilize your economy as well as the needs of the country. That could only be possible to go through with the present strategies and policies pertaining to every single field which the India did to maximize its crop production.
Minister Narendra Singh Tomar further told PTI in this case,“The government has set a production target of 291.1 million tons of food grain in 2019-20 crop year (July-June). Already kharif (summer) crops have been harvested, the sowing of rabi (winter) crops is coming to end soon.”
Tactics under Kisan Kalyan Mission
According to this program, there are certain amends which have been negotiated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 18, 2020. These negotiations are highly recognized to increase the significance of the farmers in a developing country. Under this absolute program:

- Under this scheme, various programs will be organized all across the state.

- Under this mission, departments of state government such as agriculture marketing Mandi Parishad, Horticulture, fisheries, animal husbandry, sugarcane food and supply and Panchayati Raj would work together.”
By these tactics, Yogi Adiyanath assured them that they’ll be getting better lifestyle and so serves as the most industrious volume in country’s administration. Going with the words of Minister “The work is in progress, the results will be visible soon.” We wish that 2021 will be proved better for the sake to raise the country up and help to retain its status as a “Global agriculture power house” when COVID is at hand.
