Huge amount of explosive supplies seized in Bengal’s Birbhum

An enormous amount of explosive supplies was recovered from West Bengal’s Birbhum district, police stated on Thursday.

The restoration was made on Wednesday night time from a automobile parked “suspiciously” near the freeway at Majhkhanda village in Rampurhat police station space, they stated.

Police recovered 2,600 detonators and 5,500 gelatin sticks from the automobile, they added.

There was nobody within the automobile when it was noticed, police stated.

“An investigation has been started to find out the owner and the driver of the vehicle,” Superintendent of Police Nagendranath Tripathi stated.
