Words of Gavin Williamson
On Thursday, during an interview with LBC Radio station, Gavin Williamson was asked: “Whether the acquisition of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine at first is due to the Brexit?” In response to this question, he said that “Well I just reckon we’ve got the very best people in this country and we’ve obviously got the best medical regulators. Much better than the French has, much better than the Belgians have, much better than the Americans have. That doesn’t surprise me at all because we’re a much better country than every single one of them, aren’t we.”
Today Gavin Williamson said "We're a much better country than [France, Belgium and America]".
Tell me how that's any different from these people.

The words of the education secretary spread like fire and EU slams Gavin Williamson and he even faced criticism by a plethora of netizens too. On the other hand, it is still translucent that whether he has uttered this statement in a jest or not.
The host at LBC asked him once again that whether the Brexit was to be credited for getting the vaccine at first and in response to this, he stated that,
“I think just being able to get on with things, deliver it, and the brilliant people in our medical regulator making it happen means that people in this country are going to be the first country in the western world – in the world – to get that Pfizer vaccine.”
He went on to say “A real competitive advantage. But do you know who it’s down to? It’s down to the brilliant clinicians in the regulator who’ve made it happen so fast, so our thanks go out to them. By doing what they’ve done, they’re going to have saved lives.”
Many scientists in various countries have been working tirelessly on this COVID-19 vaccine since the breakout of this deadly disease. In the wake of saving innocent lives, 43,500 people were tested by the scientists and the analysis showed a much better performance. People who were tested started recovering and became healthy. As per the manufacturers, the vaccine applied to thousands of people showed 90% effective results.
The UK had ordered the vaccine after the announcement of preparation by the companies at first and became the first country to get it.
