COVID-19 caused fast escalation inside the White House

Since last year President Trump downplayed the virus and now the situation is that initially, an infection caused him mild symptoms then it converted into a fever and finally, he flew to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Less than 24 hours after the positive detection of Covid-19 in Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, the positive detection of the virus among the close aides of President Trump, inside White House, has rapidly widened. The situation depicts that downplaying the COVID-19 caused fast escalation inside the White House.

Escalation of Virus

According to the early Saturday reports, Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien, former counsellor Kellyanne Conway and two senators who were present in Trump’s Supreme Court nomination announcement have been tested positive for the virus. It is a remarkably fast escalation of the virus among the highly protected American officials in the White House.

Trump’s health condition

President’s physician Dr Sean Conley updated last night on the President’s condition, explaining that the President is “doing very well” and no need for supplementary Oxygen at the movement. But opting precautionary measures doctors have started antiviral drug ‘Remdesivir’. Conley further added that on earlier Friday President’s movement from the White House to Walter Reed was made on his recommendation. The decision was taken after a thorough consultation with specialists from Walter Reed and John Hopkins University.

Intentionally ‘dismissing the virus’

Throughout the pandemic, President’s recklessness has been the part of daily news. Though the pandemic curve is still inclining in the US, the President decided to participate in the fundraising campaign in Bedminster and New Jersey. Thursday evening even he had learned that his close aide Hocks had been detected positive with the virus, but he insisted not to change his upcoming schedule.

Last Saturday President and first lady hosted a sizeable crowd in the Rose Garden where the President nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. It was observed that guests didn’t follow SOPs of social distancing and wearing the mask. As a result, at least seven people tested positive. This rackless attitude of downplaying COVID-19 caused fast escalation inside the White House.
