Katie Price has been confirmed as a Celebrity MasterChef 2021 contestant. The show’s star-studded lineup of 20 celebs who will enter the infamous kitchen was announced today. The TV star and model has had a busy year in the spotlight, but she will now turn her focus away from her personal life and toward her culinary abilities.
Tom Rhodes has crowned the traditional version of the long-running BBC cooking show’s series 17 winner last week.
The final aired on the BBC last week in a delayed slot after being postponed due to the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Fans of the show will now be anticipating the celebrity version, which will air this summer. Celebrity MasterChef 2021 will be shown on the BBC for six weeks. Many Kent residents will be cheering for Katie Price, who has lived in the area for a long time and owns a home on the Kent-Sussex border.
What is Kitty doing now?
Katie is actually renovating her home with her new fiancee Carl Woods, and she is documenting the process on Instagram. She has a keen eye for design and organization, but whether that would translate to the MasterChef cooking world remains to be seen.
The star’s appearance on Celebrity MasterChef was rumoured earlier this year. “Katie’s really excited for people to see a new side to her – she’s actually a really good chef, and wants to show off her kitchen skills,” a source said at the time, according to The Sun. “She won’t crack under the burden of cooking for Gregg Wallace and John Torode every night because she has to cook for five picky kids!”
Happy Mondays star Bez, Strictly Come Dancing pro-Johannes Radebe, actress Su Pollard, and Blue singer Duncan James will all appear on the star-studded edition of the show.

Nabil Abdul Rashid, Patrick Grant of The Great British Sewing Bee, Melanie Sykes, comedian Munya Chawawa, EastEnders star Rita Simmons, and Will Kirk of The Repair Shop are all on the bill.
Model Penny Lancaster, TV presenter Joe Wash, Megan McKenna from TOWIE, former footballer Dion Dublin, author Gavin Esler, Paralympian Kadeena Cox, and actresses Melissa Johns and Michelle Collins round out the line-up.
The editor of the series said
“This year’s line-up promises a massive amount of humour and entertainment,” said series editor Katie Attwood. “Lockdown has honed our celebrity chefs’ culinary skills, and we’re in for some outstanding talent and incredible dishes as the celebrities trade in their day jobs for a place in the MasterChef kitchen.” “Celebrity MasterChef 2021 is one of the highlights of the British summertime calendar, and this series is as entertaining and charming as ever,” said Sarah Clay, BBC commissioning editor.
“Next year, the 20 courageous celebrities are joined by a host of top chefs in brand new challenges, making this year extra special. The culinary norm is unlike anything we’ve ever seen.” The winner will follow in the footsteps of Riyadh Khalaf, an Irish-Iraqi broadcaster and YouTube sensation who won the series in 2020.
