Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia prepared to totally take part within the Schengen space

The European Commission has referred to as upon the European Council to take the required selections with none additional delay to permit Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia to totally take part within the Schengen space. In a Communication adopted on November 16th, the Commission took inventory of the three Member States’ sturdy report of achievements within the software of the Schengen rules.

The Commission stated that “for years, these Member States have significantly contributed to the well-functioning of the Schengen area, including during the time of the pandemic and more recently when faced with the unprecedented consequences of the war in Ukraine.”
