This time Big Hit Entertainment won’t go easy on the criminals attacking the world-famous boyband BTS. BTS AKA bulletproof boy scouts are once again being attacked. So, Big Hit Entertainment rescues BTS and in the wake of safeguarding the veteran band, it has decided to take some serious legal actions against all the haters and malicious commenters.
Big Hit agency’s update
Armies came to know about this step of Bighit on the 30th of December after the agency shared an official statement on their own community platform ‘weverse’. The statement read:
“Hello. This is Big Hit Entertainment. Big Hit regularly initiates legal proceedings against perpetrators of malicious activities related to BTS, including ill-intentioned criticism, the spread of groundless information, sexual harassment, personal attacks and defamation. We would like to provide an update on these activities.”
The statement further read that “We have recently filed additional criminal complaints using new information provided by fans as well as collected through our monitoring initiatives.
These include perpetrators who have previously been found guilty and sentenced to fines, as well as individuals who are presumed to be engaged in malicious activities even while being under investigation after we have filed criminal complaints against them. For these individuals, we will initiate legal proceedings against them until their malicious behaviours stop completely.
Some individuals created dozens of accounts to make malicious postings. We monitored these accounts and filed complaints against multiple accounts.
For perpetrators who continue to engage in criminal activities after they have been found guilty in a court of law, we plan to file for damages in civil court. Big Hit Entertainment will continue to initiate strict measures to ensure that perpetrators are prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and there will be no settlement or leniency.
Big Hit regularly collects information on malicious postings regarding BTS, reports them to the authorities and files criminal complaints. We ask that you make continued use of our hotline (email@example.com) to report any cases of abuse.
We are always grateful for the affection and dedication shown by our fans to BTS. We will continue to work to ensure that the rights of our artists are fully protected.
— Big Hit Entertainment”

The saddest fact among all was “Jimin read them!”
